About SICE: your single point of contact in foreign trade
We were born to solve a very concrete problem: importing and exporting with a single point of contact in charge of the whole chain, whether or not you have your own foreign-trade department.
SICE was founded in 2012. We are 3 partners who come from the foreign-trade division of Banco de Chile, where we handled the opening of letters of credit, payments to suppliers and the entire shipping process through to the client's warehouse, . Each partner personally handles their own portfolio, under their sole responsibility: you always deal with the same partner, who knows your cargo by heart.
Our experience goes back much further. One of the partners began in 1985 in the export of frozen seafood, and went on to work in customer service and sales at freight forwarders and in foreign trade at Banco de Chile. That is nearly four decades of craft placed at the service of your operation.
We are not a multinational or a call center. We are skilled, hardworking people, available 24/7 when an operation demands it. We contact your supplier directly to review the documentation (invoice, packing list, certificate of origin) that determines your tariff reductions, and because we manage the freight, we make sure the transport document (BL, CRT, AWB) is issued correctly. You are freed from what you don't know.

Each partner handles their portfolio personally. You don't talk to a call center or a different rep every time: you always talk to the person who decides and answers for your operation.
Who carries out each leg, and who answers to you?
In short: SICE coordinates the whole chain and each leg is carried out by a specialist provider from our network. Your SICE partner is your single point of contact and answers to you for the coordination and the deadlines, end to end. We work with third parties, and we say so plainly: that is how foreign trade works, and our job is to make sure you never have to coordinate or chase them.

- One point of contact: one of our three partners, with nearly 30 years in foreign trade, reviews your quote in person and follows your cargo to your warehouse.
- Costs in the open: we quote freight, insurance, transport and fees firm and in writing, with duties and VAT estimated. At the end you receive an Operating Cost Report with all invoices attached.
